Our Curriculum Intent

The Maths faculty will achieve the Howard’s curriculum intent by:

Developing students’ mathematical and creative problem-solving abilities.
Challenging and supporting learners at all levels, giving them skills and confidence to tackle a diverse range of problems, from simple puzzles to national competitions.
Providing opportunities to experience the satisfaction of finding solutions, and to understand how much of the world is underpinned by mathematics.
