During the summer term, we will be holding 3 events specific to the transition process at school.  On Thursday 25 April 2019 we will be holding a Year 7 Transition Evening for parents/carers and Year 6 students.  This is a 1-1 meeting with a member of staff at The Howard to enable us to start the information collecting process and answer any questions that you may have.  A separate letter will be sent out regarding this event in due course.

Year 6 students are invited to an Induction Day on Wednesday 3 July 2019.  This will be an opportunity for them to meet staff and other new students, begin to get to know the layout of the school and to participate in taster lessons.  The Induction Day will commence at 9am and end at 3pm.  In addition to this, we would also like to invite parents/carers of new students to the Year 7 Parents' Induction Evening which will be held in the School Hall on Wednesday 3 July 2019 at 7pm.  This will be an opportunity to meet members of the school staff and receive further information about your child's induction to the School.  With regard to these events, if you have difficulties accessing the school building, moving around the building, or would require additional support, please contact us so that we can ensure that your needs are met.
